what do you do to retain your users?

I think one of the critical part of making money is your product is retention. You need to retain some of the users visiting your website so that you can grow cumulatively. How do you do that?

Agree that user retention is critical to minimize churn and maximize lifetime value of a customer. The first step is to get to know your users. What are their biggest pain-points and what problems do they face constantly that you can solve. Currently my solution solves more of a 1 time problem, however I’m going to figure out the sub problems they face so that I can keep them on the platform.

Create a Discord server to gather your community, ask for feedback often, post sneak peeks of what you are working on and ask what they think about it. Ultimately, if you have free/paid users of your product, just reach out to them, schedule some calls with them to just check in, ask how satisfied they are with the product, or what could you do to make them successful. It's easy as that, and it can work wonders.

If you are building a social product, you should aim for 1 to 7 ratio, meaning one active user should trigger 7 new active users.
