I think this role reversal can be emotionally and mentally challenging for well-siblings, as they try to fulfill their responsibilities while also grappling with their own desires and aspirations.

Well-siblings face challenges like emotional stress, limited attention, caregiving responsibilities, social isolation, and worries about the future. They may also feel pressure to excel, lack information and support, and struggle with identity development. Despite these challenges, they often develop resilience and empathy.
I've seen firsthand that Well-siblings often face emotional challenges, feelings of neglect due to the attention given to their ill sibling, and sometimes even guilt for being the "healthy" one.
It's a tough and often overlooked situation.
I don't wish that on any kid.
