Lately I've been active so much in twitter and learned so many things there. I wanted to come with the topic, discussion on what's the best way of DMing on Twitter?. I've seen so many people DMing and saw what's good and what's bad to do. Apparently, I wrote something about how we should do things correctly in order to avoid rejection. So, these are some of my recommendations I think is good to use for DMing on Twitter: 1. Comment first The worst mistake is to go completely cold in. The person has yet to learn who and what you're about. This is magnified if your profile is new or lower following. 2. Goal with a DM Have a clear goal and provide a CTA (Call To Action). If you don't have a CTA, it feels weird. I didn't do this, as my main goal was just to connect to people. State your intention. 3. Do more Cold DMing/emailing/calling is usually low success rate. Don't beat yourself up with no answers. Just continue. 4. Target small-medium sized accounts Bigger creators will have a tonne of DMs. They wont have time to write back. Target your size of creators. Please let me know what you think of this and if you have any other recommendations I would be glad to read them :D
