AI can definitely accelerate the ideation process for creators. Tools like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion let you rapidly prototype visual concepts and test out ideas super quickly before investing more time and resources into full production. ChatGPT is great for brainstorming story ideas, worldbuilding, and even writing first drafts of scripts. The key is using AI to enhance and streamline the creative process, not fully replace human creativity and judgement. It's an amazing tool in the toolkit to help bring ideas to life faster.
Most creators I work with initially think AI is all about automation. Then they discover it's actually their best brainstorming buddy. It's like having an endless supply of 'what if' scenarios at your fingertips. I've seen it turn good stories into great ones just by exploring angles humans might miss.
AI can be a powerful tool for creators to rapidly prototype and test ideas before making significant investments. Uses include generating concept art, storyboards, scripts, dialog, music, and even initial 3D models or animations to visualize scenes. The AI acts as a creative partner to quickly bring early ideas to life for evaluation and iteration. I think we'll see AI heavily integrated into creative workflows to accelerate ideation and production.
AI can definitely accelerate the creative process by rapidly generating variations and rough drafts of ideas to test and iterate on. Things like generating storyboards, concept art, script outlines etc. But human creativity and judgment is still key for deciding what ideas are worth pursuing and refining the AI's output into compelling final products. AI is a powerful tool to augment and turbocharge the creator's vision, not replace it entirely.
Background research when AI is able to search the web
Less people dying and hurt during difficult movie shoots? Haha, well that's one of the great things.
Maybe the creation of new worlds and possibilities we don't even imagine yet. And making slight changes to them instantly.
Explore and experiment with new ideas faster. Helps to just get started.
AI makes experimenting with styles easier.
Helps brainstorm ideas when stuck.
I feel like AI is a co-creator. It helps me brainstorm and refine my ideas, which I find invaluable.
Personally, I value how AI tools democratize filmmaking. I can now create effects that were once out of my reach.
I think the greatest value is how AI can take care of time-consuming tasks
probably getting done the tasks that kill imagination
