For us at beams it means working with more intention and doing one thing after the other. Instead of working faster and faster and multi-tasking.

Maintaining hygiene of my mental health and work - life balance. -Taking breaks and working in my own pace. I stopped forcing myself to work in the morning if I feel more inspired in the evenings etc.

@tomitomcat Thank you Izabela! It's so important to understand your own rhythm and allowing yourself to work in synch with your chronotype.
For me, its setting intentional goals and pursuing them without distraction
To me, that means getting the job done on time without having to spend too much time looking for information to complete the task.
For me it means remembering to take regular breaks.

@michael_sieb Oh yes, taking breaks (even better: at the right time) is soo important! By the way, thank you so much for being an early beams user! We are working on our focus mode to make the break reminders even better π
@jana_schellong of course! Love what you are building and looking forward to the upcoming launch π

@michael_sieb agree. sometimes i worked 4h straight and felt exhausted =(((((
Working on tasks that help me explore and learn new things on the way is mindful productivity for me. Using every minute of the day to do something that has a real impact on business and people makes me feel happy and mindfully productive at the end of the day.
That said, there are days when you have no control on things and you end up doing boring repetitive work (such as sheets :( ). But asking "did I really learn anything new in this task and what impact do these two hours have on the business" helps me understand if my day was truly productive and improvise.

When I here mindful productivty I think of something like making the right tradeoffs for a productive environment. Something like not over optimizing for productivity

@philipsnyder It's all about balance, I agree!
Taking short breaks in between and keeping your mind fresh while working effectively.
Mindful productivity is all about being present in the moment and fulfilling your tasks without distractions. By focusing on what you are doing, you can minimize the need for mindless multitasking and increase efficiency.
To me, mindful productivity means being intentional and purposeful in how you approach your work, and being aware of your thoughts, feelings, and actions as you go about your tasks. It involves being present in the moment and focusing on what you are doing, rather than letting your mind wander or being easily distracted. It also involves being aware of your physical and emotional well-being, and taking care of yourself as you work. This can involve things like taking regular breaks, practicing mindfulness and relaxation techniques, and making sure you are in a comfortable and conducive environment. Ultimately, mindful productivity means being productive in a way that is sustainable and healthy, and that aligns with your values and goals.
Meeting the deadlines.
Well I believe if we learn something, even if its just 1 thing in a day. That day is productive.
So when we fail a task its not a time waste, instead we learnt what not to do. So yeah.
Just a thoughtπ
Mindful productivity is the practice of being aware and in control of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while you are working. It can be a way to increase efficiency and decrease stress levels while you are at work.
If you're having to do ALOT for minimal result for longer periods, you need to ask some questions.
For me mindful productivity is when I'm working on a task to stay focussed and complete it in under the time I assumed it would take initially.
For me, it means getting work done right on time without having to put in too much time searching for the information to do the task.

Great thought! Makes me look back at my hectic work routine. Anyways, my idea for mindful productivity is to not negatively compare my work with the world. Keep it simple, give my best and enjoy the process. :)
@alessandro_canella True. Keep it simple and stay focused

@katerina_arbuzova Yes! So with you on that one - and ideally starting with tackling the biggest priority first.
