What has helped you grow your email (newsletter) list? + My approach

Honestly, I take it easy with some promotions because I prefer subscribers who like to read long-form and try to "pull them in" to the story. The goal is not to have everybody that's why: – I haven't scrapped emails – I haven't used any lead magnet – I even do not have a website with a sign-up form Instead I: – have a clear CTA – contribute frequently – curate content for everyone – leave a link in the comments Despite the lower number I managed to get sponsors. What is your strategy when it comes to growing subscribers and how do you use a newsletter (more of a promo or writing stories)?

Definitely use content upgrades! Basically offer a free resource related to your blog post (like a checklist, template, video, etc.) in exchange for an email. Works like a charm to grow subs. Also collab with other newsletters in your niche to do newsletter swaps and cross-promote to each other's audiences. 📈💌
