I was about to choose freelancer (although I'm biased) because if you make the logo yourself and have not dabbled in design before, your taste might not be developed enough to create an appealing logo.
But then I thought that if you find a cheap freelancer on the marketplace there's a big chance that their taste is not developed either, so you're not better off.
If you do make the logo yourself using a generator, I think it's better to use one with a limited selection of icons and fonts, like Mojomox, because it makes it way harder to create something bad.

Depends on stage. If you're starting it's better to do it yourself with a generator.
I'm sure there's a stable diffusion model out there trained on logos.

@between_team Interesting point of view. The problem is that logo generators are really bad nowadays. There is still a huge margin of progression for AI generators. But I agree for the early stage, designing it yourself can be a great option if you don't have a budget.

@between_team @jmontero I've got to say Looka and Brandmark just don't cut it as great options. Honestly, I'd rather not have a logo than use a logo generator. I feel like there's still a massive gap in the market when it comes to logo design and AI. That's actually why we're considering building our own logo generator with high quality design.

@between_team totally agree, you can try some tools as Looka or Brandmark

I would design myself, as I'm also a logo designer!
However, even if I wasn't into logo designing, I wouldn't go for logo generator tools, definitely.

@hosseinyazdi Totally agree man!
Logo plays an important role in branding.
But your products play a more important role.
So when I was starting out, I created it myself by using some vectors from Freepik.
Then once your product starts to kickoff, then focus on this.
I might be hated for saying this: No one really cares about your logo, when you are just starting out

@rishabhravindran Hey man! Every point of view is valuable. I agree with you; having a great logo is essential for branding. I feel like having an exceptional logo is a luxury that not everyone can afford, especially when starting with no budget. However, at a certain point, it becomes crucial for your brand. People with outstanding logos truly stand out from the competition in a unique way. Numerous cognitive and psychological studies have proven this. Have you ever experienced a rush of dopamine when looking at an amazing logo?
@stanislas_pietra Yes, after a certain point, it becomes essential, but I won't recommend in investing too much into that in the beginning
