Hello folks, I am Varalakshmi. I have been in community management for about 6.5 years. Personally, the easiest has been connecting with community members and the toughest have always been the first effort to open up. But, I get that flow eventually. What's been your journey like?

Building apps is hard, letting people sign up for the app is harder, but keeping them active to the app is even harder. But, once you achieve this, you will be able to become better than most people.

@jorcus And i think that is where community plays a vital role. Activating members via community with right education, help them be part of expert network, help them progress and acknowledge.
I’m sure @tiagorbf will have some thoughts on this ;)

Sounds about right. Being consistent and telling everyone to open up is a good strategy. Lots of effort, but pays off. I was always reluctant because it felt like oversharing, but that's a reflex I'm trying to grow out of and it's been working.

@stelian_dobrescu1 Yeah! Initially, it all feels like a lot of effort but def pays off. I thought, i was the only one who found this difficult.
