Product Hunt's community consists mostly of entrepreneurs, developers and marketers, so products that can help them usually get more traction.

I've created several discussions recently and found out from the answers that it is mostly the case that people check out and upvote products they can actually use for their work.

@michaelshver Product hunt community widely consists of developers who are building and launching. I wonder if actual consumers who are or SaaS owners use product Hunt. As you mentioned, maybe the products that developers can integrate in their SaaS.
