What problems need to be solved in the VR space?

This article got me thinking: https://www.wsj.com/articles/metaverse-virtual-reality-vr-accident-prone-meta-11643730489 VR currently has obvious problems such as power, form factor, resolution, etc. Then there are known ones like motion sickness and physical injuries. What other problems need to be solved for VR to achieve mainstream adoption?

The motion sickness effects everyone. It also shouldn't look like a nerd helmet.
