It depends on what kind of relationship you're asking about. If it's a romantic relationship, I can say one thing for sure: If you are entirely confident in your partner, don't dare make any decisions about him because that would severely damage the chain of your relationship. For example, I made a mistake with my current wife when I hesitated to marry her, which was a blow to the integrity of our relationship. But I managed to get it back on track and proposed to her, and we had a beautiful cades cove wedding. I didn't regret it and was able to make our relationship ten times stronger.
