Hello everyone! While discovering new products, does user-centered design catch your attention and increase your chances of giving the product you discovered a chance?

200% it plays a critical role. But something I've learnt recently about this is the red ocean vs blue ocean space analogy. If you're building an app, in a category where apps have already penetrated the market, and if a product has already nailed the UX, it's tough (not impossible) the change the market behaviour. If you're in the blue ocean territory - your users are being hand-held to do automate something, that they previously did manually, or not do at all. In these cases, users can be more patient with the UX, but the intuitiveness needs to be super high.

Absolutely! A user-friendly product increases the likelihood of using it frequently and utilizing all of its features. At Sivi.ai we've intentionally and purposefully considered users throughout the design process, We believe this leads to products that are more aligned with user needs and preferences, resulting in improved satisfaction and success.
User focused design (especially in b2c) products is key nowadays. It very important to conduct user tests of your logic flow, as errors and gaps in your user flow are not as evident until someone actually tries your product

I definitely think it does. Although it also depends on what stage you're at, we first built a very basic MVP of what our product achieves to get some initial feedback, this was so that we could have some level of market validation, and then build out the full product being user-focused!

@vin_creatorstock Hey Vinay, I would like to learn more about this. What kind of feedback were you initially looking for?
Undoubtedly, user-centered design significantly influences my decision to try new products. The assurance of a smooth, user-friendly experience piques my interest and encourages me to give the product a chance.

User-centered design is a critical aspect of product exploration because it helps ensure that the product you're creating meets the needs and expectations of your users. By putting the user at the center of the design process, you can gain a deep understanding of their needs, pain points, and goals.
