We continue to develop the product and also work on personal brands.

@elenat We are also working on building our brand influence on LinkedIn and Twitter. Could you share your experiences? What aspects do you prioritize? Which platforms do you find to be more effective?

Another week of trying to get our first customer 😀
Richard Yang
@entreeden We are facing the same challenges! Getting the first client is often the most difficult. Currently, our primary approach is promoting and networking through LinkedIn. What methods are you using? Perhaps we can exchange ideas! I'm also considering building a high-quality entrepreneur community on LinkedIn, where we can become each other's "first users" (because I've noticed many startup teams are facing the same issues), providing ample feedback and advice. Would you be willing to participate in such a community?

Definitely big things are happening and I am excited to share it on our launch
Richard Yang
@austinarmstrong Can you share it in advance? πŸ‘€

The product is not yet fully developed, but our founder wants to advertise and find customers immediately :-(

@parra_cheung In fact, I agree with your founder on certain aspects. In the early stages of a startup, a product doesn't need to be 100% perfect because achieving "perfection" is impossible without market feedback. We've observed that many projects that succeeded through Product Hunt (PH) had a significant difference between their initial launch and their ultimate success, sometimes even evolving into completely different products, like Notion! I believe that in the early stages, as long as there are no major logic bugs, even if the user experience is at 60%, the product can be launched into the market. Then, based on user feedback and input from the market, decisions can be made on how to develop and iterate the product's features and user experience. Of course, this is just my personal opinion, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

@richardpaker Yes, I completely agree with your point. In fact, I have some plans to gather user feedback in advance. Let's say I believe that advertising our product at 50% completion would be better, but currently, we're only at 25%. I think I can utilize free methods such as Product Hunt, Twitter, and Reddit to find users who can try out our product instead of spending money on advertising. So, I feel a bit sad that my plan has been disrupted. lol
Richard Yang
@parra_cheung If by "25%" you mean that there are still logic bugs or issues with your product, then it may not be a wise decision to focus your efforts on marketing right now. To be honest, the effectiveness of marketing or conversion won't be great until users actually use your product. The opportunity cost is relatively high. By the way, do you follow LinkedIn? I would highly recommend you to check it out.
Richard Yang
@parra_cheung Btw I like Feedeo's idea and I would like to try it out when it is launched, let's keep in touch
Parra Cheung
@richardpaker I'm thrilled that you're interested in our product, haha! We're aiming to release a beta version around November 6th (meaning it will be about 50% of what I envision). I'll invite you to try it out and give us feedback. Let's stay in touch!
We posted our upgraded product on the "Coming Soon" page yesterday :) We'd appreciate the support - it's a useful & fun tool for anyone developing anything on the web give & receive instant feedback with visual clarity. https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
