What's one thing you wish you knew before you started your business?

Most likely a direct question whether you need to create a product, but I want to help people become more productive, so this is motivation.

I wish I knew before starting my business is the importance of conducting thorough market research and understanding the target audience's needs, preferences, and pain points to create a product or service that truly resonates and addresses their specific demands, leading to higher chances of success and growth.

How things are done as a product manager doesn't translate 1:1 to entrepreneurship. I focused a lot on building solid foundations, documentation, and capability to scale. However, the focus early on should be on marketing, feedback, and revision. Rinse and repeat.

Hmm... Well things have been okay so far. I have been able to figure out things as I go. I suppose the best learning could have been -- Put sales first

I wish I knew how important sales and marketing was in building a business...You could create the best product imaginable, but if no one knows about it, there's no point really...
