For me it’s making connections with other startups that raised with your target fund and asking for intros😁

Pitch competitions. And having a solid USP and some traction. Then it's just a numbers game to attract investors.

The best way to attract investors to your startup is to not actually NEED investors for your startup. Fundraising is really a sales process - you need to sell the investor on why they should invest. What is it that makes an investor want to give you money? The likelihood that they will make more money if they do. Best way to illustrate that is to not be in a position to "need" the money but to be in a position where that money will accelerate your growth and the input --> output equation is clearly illustrated for them.
If you have the numbers they are looking for, they are going to follow you. And there's no better way. Some other ways are having a great product/idea, team, connections, alma mater, etc.

Build something that people want and communicate this to the investors. If you don't have warm connections to VCs especially in Europe, check our Node. The platform offers various opportunities for engagement, including mentorship sessions, investor matchmaking sprints, and investor office hours. Node is 100% free for startups, ran by a not-for-profit organization Slush. https://node.slush.org/ @henri_makivirta can tell you more

I think what matters the most are numbers, confidence, future plans of your business.

Investors go beyond investing in your product or service; they invest in the vision you present and the untapped potential you offer, so it's crucial to vividly illustrate that future and demonstrate how your startup is actively forging the way towards it.

love your approach to investor attraction - relationships at the heart, intros through mutual connections. 😌👏 yet, attracting investors often feels like a dance, doesn't it? it's a delicate balance between showing your potential and demonstrating your progress, between painting a compelling vision and showcasing an executable strategy. from my vantage point, the most potent way to attract investors is through the power of 'story'. not just a narrative about your startup, but a tale where your startup plays a crucial role in shaping a desirable future. an investor is not merely investing in your product or service, they are investing in the future you envision and the potential you promise. so, paint a compelling picture of that future and show how your startup is paving the path towards it. secondly, exhibit 'momentum'. investors are drawn towards motion, progress. show them you're not just standing still with a great idea but are actively pushing towards its realization. regular updates, no matter how small, help demonstrate this momentum. lastly, embody 'resilience'. in the face of challenges, which are inevitable in any startup journey, your ability to adapt, learn and bounce back is what sets you apart. but remember, while intros and connections can open doors, it's the belief in your vision, the trust in your team and the faith in your resilience that ultimately seals the deal. so, weave your narrative, build momentum, showcase resilience and let your passion shine through. attract not just any investor, but the right ones, those who resonate with your vision and are ready to embark on this exciting journey with you. good luck with your venture and keep thriving! 🚀

When it comes to attracting investors to your startup, it's all about showcasing your potential in a compelling way. One key approach is to craft a solid pitch deck that highlights your unique value proposition, market opportunity, and growth strategy. Keep it concise, but make sure to include the key information that investors care about.
