Everything hahaha, it's just the best platform that I know for launching a product or giving updates. Gives good exposure and feedback at the same time.
@relja_denic For me, it's the same - the warmth of the community and the valuable feedback make it a great choice
MindVault- Brain Dump
@relja_denic same here, the love that this community shows to support you and your product is just amazing. Also this platform helps you building connection, getting feedback and even sales too.
@relja_denic i just made a post about how someone was irresponsible with my feedback and took it as an opportunity to be defensive, even telling me to look something up pertaining to his ill fitted branding

Exposure and find someone really like the product! PH is the best place to find your first 50 users!
Our driving force is the visibility + exposure/learning you get on this platform! Which can translate to web traffic, some sign-ups, and great feedback.
@pooja_0712 yes, the potential for increased visibility, exposure, web traffic, sign-ups, and positive feedback is a strong driving force for sure.
Depends on the launch. The first launch was to validate an Idea with the market and test if there is demand. The second launch to announce that jamie is live and out of beta. The third launch tbd... ;)
@leo_wendler Agreed! Each launch serves a unique purpose, and it's an exciting journey. Looking forward to the next one!

Great community of people who understand the struggles and can support you unconditionally.
Driving force was to get feedback and downloads on the app - since we are a mixed Dutch and Swedish team we wanted to reach a wider community and get feedback on our MVP - which is launch today - go have a look if you have time :)
@boudewijn_bos Exciting times ahead with your MVP launch - will definitely check it out! π
@felicitias amazing ππ¨
Primarily for the feedback and initial traction on product
@sumit_sharma29 yes, feedback and traction are key goals!
For seeking new users to help us products getting better

always thought of PH as a warm community, not just a launchpad.
it's where makers, early adopters, and the curious minds mingle and share, beyond upvotes and features.
itβs a place where feedback is genuine and critique is constructive.
itβs where you find folks genuinely rooting for you, learning from you, and sharing insights that sometimes pivot entire product directions.
the thrill and network? sure, theyβre cherries on top. but the core? itβs the community, always. β€οΈ
@shajedulkarim_ it's all about the warm and supportive community at its core π

Not only do new products get a great opportunity for more exposure, but they also receive feedback and suggestions from the community to help improve the product. There's even a chance to attract investments. Overall, Product Hunt is a powerful platform for product promotion and discovery, especially suitable for startups and entrepreneurs, offering many opportunities to showcase, test, and improve new products.
ThinkPost
It would be definitely the thrill of launching for me! Never thought of network, but I think, in retrospect, I should have networked first!
@zameermfm absolutely, the thrill of launching is exhilarating, and networking can be truly remarkable.
Popularity of this platform!
@neha_banta Absolutely, it's incredibly attractive for users.

Market fit, exposure and product validation.
@silisolutionist Yes, those are indeed crucial priorities! π―
the fact that it's needed
Feedback! Product Hunt is super feedback driven, and since we're launching to open beta, feedback is exactly what we want. Speaking of: mDash, our AI-powered project management tool built specifically for web development, is launching tomorrow! If anyone is interested in helping support our launch and give their 2 cents on mDash so we can continue to improve our platform, please check out our coming soon page!
@brianhurst Exciting! Feedback is essential for growth. Best of luck with the mDash launch! πππ
