To me it was fast.ai What made it stand out is that it started from the top down. Most courses would teach you from the bottom up (e.g. "start by understanding every detail of a neural network -> build a script to classify images") Fast.ai went the opposite way (e.g. "here's the script you need to classify images -> now let's understand how it works all the way down to neural networks"). Small change, but it had a big impact. I understood exactly what we were doing (and why) at each step of the way.

@richardreeze so cool. Did you take this course in a cohort or on your own? I wonder if the new Conversational Courses feature could have been helpful here to also connect with other participants in the course. We just launched today, please check it out here (https://www.producthunt.com/post...)

The most memorable online course I took was Seth Godin's "The Marketing Seminar." It stood out because of its engaging community discussions and actionable insights on marketing psychology.

I took a UX design course on Coursera that really stood out. The real-world projects and expert feedback made it practical and engaging.

@sadie_scott can you share a little bit more about the real world feedback, was that from the instructor or your peers for both? We just launched a Conversational Courses feature today on Sutra that makes it easy to engage not only with the content, but also with the other participants. Would love for you to check it out (https://www.producthunt.com/post...)

Back when I was into videography, Fulltime Filmmaker by Parker Walbeck. It was incredible because the production quality was so high and the content was amazingly planned and written.

@nathancovey so cool... do you think he would benefit from creating conversational course or repurposing his content in some way to create more conversation between participants taking the course? I'm asking because I'd love to know if Sutra could be a good platform for him (https://www.producthunt.com/post...)

The most memorable online course I’ve taken was a "film studies" course that delved deep into cinematic history and storytelling techniques. What made it stand out was the engaging way it connected classic films with modern streaming platforms, showing how technology has changed film consumption. This is where FreeCine APK becomes relevant. Just like the course emphasized accessibility to great cinema, FreeCine APK offers a treasure trove of movies and series at your fingertips. Whether it's timeless classics or the latest releases, FreeCine APK makes it easy to explore and enjoy content, much like what the course inspired. https://apkfreecine.com

It was the course by Appsumo like a decade ago. I wasted Rs 25000, it had very basic info on how to market lol.

@lucy_rolff I'd love to hear more about how the community was engaged. I believe having a community is a big part of having an amazing online learning experience. That is exactly what we designed sutra for (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) I hope you'll check out our launch today and leave us some feedback.

@joha_nna_john was the feedback from the instructor or from other participants who also shared their work? We just launched a Conversational Courses feature today on Sutra (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) and I'm wondering if you think it would be valuable to also interact with other participants in the course. What do you think?

Definitely the MIT Intro to Computer Science course on EdX. Engaging lectures, fun programming assignments in Python, and a great online forum for getting help. Finishing that beast of a course gave me so much confidence as a new programmer!
