What's the most underrated advice?

What is the most underrated advice you could give to the community? Something that not a lot of makers know about, but definitely should! Mine is: Get yourself a success/accountability partner! Research from the American Society of Training and Development showed that people with success partners are 95% more likely to reach their goals. Also the reason why we've created VenturePals, an App for entrepreneurs to find their success partner! :) Here's our Teaser Page: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

Probably to keep trying. One you have tried multiple things and learnt multiple things, everything in the future will feel like less of an obstacle!

"Do what matters". I read it on a Fiverr blog a long time ago and it just stuck with me. You could apply this advice from your professional to personal life and I believe you would it more useful than anything else. "Do what matters" helps me prioritize even the tiniest tasks in my daily routine.

@sentry_co A success partner is another entrepreneur with whom you enter a partnership of mutual support! You both keep each other accountable throughout the weeks and make sure each one of you finishes their weekly tasks. This way you're more inclined to stay consistent and increase your chances of reaching your goals.

@jwurtz Ahh. I do this! This is what I call Acountability squad. Kinda the same, but more than one, so more peer pressure to finish 😅

@sentry_co Awesome! Accountability squads are great, I personally prefer the 1-to-1 basis as it's more personal! My success partner is @herman_palmgren, after 8 months of seeing the results we decided to team up and make this easier for other entrepreneurs!

@herman_palmgren @jwurtz My issue with one is that I can't find someone that's as consistent as I am. #Aspergers 😬 So they always fade out before I do. But having more than one solves this. When one drops out, you rotate someone new in. As they say in the entrepreneurial world: "It's more scaleable" 😂

for young people like me I would like them to know they shouldn't listen to people most people, because we all have different goals so if people think what you are working on is stupid and this people don't have the same goals as you. don't listen to them. mostly when you are an entrepreneur lot of people (employees, parents...) try to ruin your motivation and confidence. listen more to the people that look like what you wanna be in the futur !
