What's the Next Step After AI-Generated On-Page SEO Content?

I run AffordHunt, an affordable tools directory that lists numerous AI SEO tools. Over time, I have tried many of these tools myself, and they do an excellent job in generating on-page SEO content. However, this leads me to a crucial question - what should be the next step to further optimize on-page SEO? Since AI tools are already doing a fantastic job in content generation, it seems there isn't much room for improvement in that aspect. So, should the focus then shift towards off-page SEO or perhaps selecting long-tail keywords? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this!

Interesting question Jake. I built Mango SEO that targets the SEO sub niche of "Programmatic SEO". Programmatic SEO using AI takes allows content at scale to be generated whilst aligning with Google's SERP algorithm 'Niche Expertise'. Diving into sub niches could be the next phase, AI tools that do local SEO, Refresh and Repost Content, and other tools that are specificlly aligned to and help feed the alogorithm.

It's fantastic to hear that AI-generated on-page SEO content has been working well for AffordHunt! As you rightly pointed out, when AI content generation is on point, the next steps in SEO optimization typically involve a combination of strategies to further enhance your website's performance. Here are some valuable areas to consider: 1. Off-Page SEO: Absolutely, shifting your focus towards off-page SEO is a logical next step. This involves building high-quality backlinks, establishing your website's authority, and increasing its online presence. Guest posting, influencer outreach, and participating in industry-specific forums and communities can be effective off-page SEO tactics. 2. Long-Tail Keywords: Selecting and optimizing for long-tail keywords is an excellent strategy. Long-tail keywords often have lower competition, and they can drive highly targeted traffic to your site. AI tools can assist in identifying relevant long-tail keywords and creating content around them. 3. User Experience (UX): Enhancing the user experience on your website can lead to improved SEO. Ensure your site is mobile-friendly, loads quickly, and has intuitive navigation. Google considers user experience as a ranking factor. 4. Structured Data (Schema Markup): Implementing structured data using schema markup can make your search results more attractive and informative. This can lead to higher click-through rates and improved SEO performance. 5. Content Diversification: Beyond text-based content, consider diversifying your content types. Incorporate video, infographics, podcasts, and interactive elements. Varied content can engage different segments of your audience. 6. Local SEO: If your directory serves a specific geographic area, optimizing for local SEO is crucial. Create a Google My Business listing, encourage user reviews, and ensure your NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) information is consistent across the web. 7. Analytics and Monitoring: Continuously monitor your website's performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. This data can provide insights into areas that require improvement. 8. Content Updates: Regularly update and refresh your existing content. Keeping it current and relevant can improve its search engine ranking. Remember that SEO is an ongoing process, and what works for one website might not work for another. It's often a combination of strategies tailored to your specific goals and target audience that yields the best results. Stay open to experimentation and adaptation as the SEO landscape evolves.
