What's your advice for hiring people? Any good resources on this?

We've used a number of different resources - from job listings, to word of mouth, to recruiters - and by far the best experience we've had was through recruiters. It's definitely more expensive, but you're paying for vetted people who have an idea of what they're going to be doing vs. cold applicants. They also tend to have higher experience levels and come with realistic expectations of salary, so the hiring conversations have been smoother for us.
