Launching a SaaS product can be daunting, especially when trying to build awareness and generate buzz on a tight budget. Some rely on social media, others on community engagement, and some even try viral loops. Let’s share our favorite strategies and what worked (or didn’t) for us during a launch!

We drove SaaS launch buzz with value-packed content, personalized outreach, and community engagement. Webinars and a referral program also helped. Our viral loop attempt fell flat, but organic strategies brought quality users.

For our last SaaS launch, we focused heavily on building a pre-launch community through a private Slack group. We invited beta testers, shared exclusive updates, and encouraged feedback, which created early buzz and word-of-mouth before the product officially launched.

@annaho2000 do you have any written document on your process to create buzz and how you invited people to the Slack community? I mean what was the motivation for the people to join the Slack community?

Launching a SaaS product on a budget can be tough. 1. Focus on high-value content that addresses user pain points to build trust. 2. Collaborate with influencers for greater reach 3. Use referral programs to encourage sharing This strategy maximizes impact while fostering loyalty.

Build an email list early, create FOMO with a waitlist, launch on PH & Reddit. Rinse and repeat.
