Just joined Product Hunt about 3 days back but, I've worked closely with good number of software launches.

Our main goal regardless of software type or audience, is to get users.

Let someone in our target audience sigh with relief and go, 'yes, finally someone thought of this solution'.

And for our less excited users, we ask them what we could do better.

If we launch a product and can't get anyone to use it, we have a huge problem.

i honestly dont think we'll get any real active users from launching here, but i do want the recognition and credibility for #1 product of the day which I think we can do, depending what competition we have on launch day
