When creating presentations, do you create a roadmap before, or do you prefer to dive in without?

There are people who prefer to build presentations slide by slide, and I'm one of them. Others, on the other hand, outline the structure, develop the content, and then put it into slides. Do you think this preference has anything to do with our thought process? How do you approach presentations? Share your experiences!

As someone deeply entrenched in the world of technology and startup life, I find that creating a roadmap before diving into presentations helps streamline the process and ensures a cohesive flow. However, I do appreciate the creative chaos that comes with diving in without a plan – sometimes the best ideas come when you let your thoughts run wild! I personally like to create a narrative first then add main points.
