When creating presentations, do you create a roadmap before, or do you prefer to dive in without?

There are people who prefer to build presentations slide by slide, and I'm one of them. Others, on the other hand, outline the structure, develop the content, and then put it into slides. Do you think this preference has anything to do with our thought process? How do you approach presentations? Share your experiences!

Interesting question Renat. I personally like to create a narrative and main points that I want to cover and then create them as simple slides.

I'm one of those people who prefer to create a presentation structure, fill it with written content and then transfer it all into slides!

I think this method is especially effective when working with a team, where everyone has a comment to leave or a recommendation to implement. You can sync with them at every step of the presentation development, which reduces the number of changes needed in the final stages.
