    When is the right time to launch APIs?

    Hello, I'm Domenico, and with a friend of mine, we've launched AI Alfred (https://theaialfred.com/), an AI tool for summarizing web articles in 1 click. We are starting to get revenue on it, and a few people asked us for APIs. My question is: when is the right time for launching APIs? During the scaling stage or at the beginning for increasing paying customers? Maybe bigger customers!? Thanks

    I would recommend opening up APIs during the scale-up phase when you have a solid user base and a strong support system around it. I also recommend looking at what Notion did ;)
