I care about payment security, convenient delivery, and good after-sales service.

@bensongao Makes perfect sense! Ensuring payment security is something that is extremely necessary. Something that is of equal importance to the merchant could be the abuse of offers and discounts. Businesses tend to struggle to keep the ROI in check and there must be some way that the offers and promotions are secure as well. Would you think this is a pressing issue?

@noel_rajakumar_ps 100% I am usually that person who also tries the darker side of purchasing โ€“ the things that arrives is not always good so I can share even my bad experiences so other people are less likely to fall in a trap :D

@busmark_w_nika I can totally relate to this. I've made purchases solely based on the feedback that my friends had shared. And I must agree that it has worked 99% of the time

For me, it's seeing trusted third-party security badges & certifications like Norton, McAfee, TRUSTe, etc. And knowing they encrypt all data and transactions. That really puts my mind at ease that my info is safe! ๐Ÿ”’๐Ÿ˜Œ

Yes, well-known payment options are super important for building trust in an online store. ๐Ÿ‘ I always look for PayPal or Apple Pay before entering my credit card info on a new site. Seeing those trusted logos makes me feel safe completing the purchase. ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ˜„ Other things that boost my confidence are detailed product descriptions, high-quality photos, and genuine customer reviews. ๐Ÿ’ฏ Those elements show the store is legit.

@amandanicoleharris Makes total sense. But do you think your purchase is safe if the said demands are met? Should these aspects alone ensure trust and credibility? I feel checkout pages should have an indicator in case of alerting for any unusual activity based on the user device. Account takeovers are a most common type of fraud that could result in a lot of damage. What do you think?

Definitely! I always look for trust badges from well-known security companies like McAfee or Norton. And having a padlock icon in the browser bar showing it's an HTTPS site makes me feel way more confident my info is secure. ๐Ÿ”’

@ethansamuelbennett a lot of users tend to get scammed because they fail to notice the basic features of the website like the padlock icon. This must be mandatory before making any payments or submitting user based identification details

The presence of well-known and trusted payment options like PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, or Apple Pay reassures shoppers that their financial information is protected. ๐Ÿฅฐ

@mono_lim 100%. When I don't see Visa or Mastercard logos in the checkout page, I'm very unlikely to perform the purchase
