In this digital & data-driven era, almost all the things we do on the internet rely on a platform/database to save our data. Things like personal notes, business, and even project data mostly rely on a database. I'm wondering where do you store your data? and why choose that database/platform?

Before deciding where the data should be stored, I ask a few questions to myself: 1. Who is the consumer of this data? A technical person or a non-technical person or APIs/Code? 2. What is the nature of this data and how will it be used? 3. How frequently this data would be retrieved? Once all these basic questions are answered, I decide the datastore for the given data.

It's Notion for my organization. It has enough flexibility to suit all our use cases, and is still quite easy to use. We also use Google Spreadsheets and Google Docs for specific needs. (By the way, they could also be embedded in Notion).

Always prefer G-sheets. Nowadays, using Notion for documentation and Clickup for all kinds of projects.

MySQL for the app; Trello + Google Sheets for the business :) I would like to try out Notion though.
