Where do you think the tourism industry is headed at the moment?

It would be nice to have a tour of my Airbnb or Hotel with some VR before I get there. People who want the experience of travelling abroad will still travel. For a lot of the budget places and flights they will still do ok, it's the mid-level that may face the biggest squeeze, as you can get more for your money elsewhere.

I believe it will flow to multiple paths, generative AI is changing a lot of stuff and if we have streaming services beating cinema, soon the new streaming will be tuned to each person interest at a very low cost, with Sora you can soon have Netflix generating alternativr endings, like imagine on Harry Potter that Voldmort has succeeded, or LOTR that Frodo becomes Sauron... How does this impact tourism? Because you can generate better content, but not just that, our mission at HYR is to make culture acessible and strengthen the economical impact, with virtual reality there's the possibility of traveling back in time, temporary exhibitions, events, places before wars, earthquakes and more, there's a whole universe possible to tackle, another perspective is with generative AI you can generate places from stories to space exploration to microscopic world. Now another perspective more in VR is that if we perform space exploration correctly we will send thousands of robots, and control them remotely with VR+haptic surfaces, so when humans go there are all type of amenities already in place, then visiting expositions and events will be common to do it virtually. Besides digital travel to oceans and vulcanoes, it gets very easy via VR and avoids harmful situations. That's kind of my vision for the future, the only thing necessary is human adaptation, we have so much to explore that the human being should be educated to wonder, explore and use creativity.
