I've discussed this topic with some start-up businesses and found out the answers can be various. It'll depend on the workforce of company. My company was formed by a group of enthusiastic developers and have little experience in UX/UI. So, for me, the main difficulty I faced is about mobile responsiveness. I got some struggles while displaying sizes across devices vary a lot from a small mobile to huge tablets and PCs as well.

Thinking about distribution is the most challenging part for me.

In our case we got totally different problems, we hired a super cool designer to for facing that kind of problems, and we struggling to figure out what features build in first and how deeply develop them, you know they can be better and better but you know you have time and budget to handle... So that is!

@xkraty Hi Chirs, I totally agree that the planning part is always the most important part, especially when we build a complicated app with various features, the budget should be carefully considered

@amanda_tunner Another thing I'd never thought about is how hard is to find good collaborators

I think the most challenging part is finding our very first user. Since you can outsource an UX/UI designer to solve the designing thing, attracting customers to use that beautiful design app is never easy :(

I think the biggest difficulty is finding a way to put ideas into action. Besides that I must understand my customers and figure out how I can keep them more engaged for longer.
