Which part of the Product Hunt is the most important for you?

Since I am not planning to launch anything for now and use it solely for building community, for me, it is Community (Discussion section + comments). What about you? 🤔 [Every category has a slightly different purpose – e.g. Products are related to having backlinks and visibility News (newsletter) to be informed about current, trendy things etc.]

Upvotes and rankings are great, but what really moves the needle is how you interact with people

Definitely the launch day! It’s exciting to see how people react to the product and it helps build momentum. Plus, the exposure on launch day is crucial for growth.

The community feedback and discussions. Visibility for the products we launch is important but it doesn’t last. Getting feedback and insights from the community is the long run game to me

For me, it's more about showcasing products and building connections, but community interaction definitely plays a key role as well. 😊

Right now it's community. Hopefully my efforts here lead to better launches though!

Launches and community for me! 🤩 Even though my first reason here is to build awareness for our product (LoonaLabs) and launch it in the late 2024, I actually ended up enjoying browsing & supporting launches as well as interacting with the community. I even ended up using some apps that help me with my work thanks to PH, and the posts recommended by the community! 😉

@busmark_w_nika Thank you! 😊 We aim to launch by late 2024, we're thinking around October or November... Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻 We'll probably post and share with the community, but until then we'll be here chilling with the crowd & supporting other launches 🤩 We'd be happy if we see you during our launch! 😁

@busmark_w_nika We try to share what helped us to others because you know how you have to sometimes use multiple tools or apps to create, share and manage content? Or sometimes it's just hard to think of the right words/design? 😣 Our team used to struggle with that, so we decided to create LoonaLabs to solve that. To put it shortly, it's an all-in-one AI platform for content creation, design, reporting, and the like 🤩

I look for interesting products here, it's amazing how people here have unique and creative ideas, but I also often open and read discussions

@busmark_w_nika We're planning to launch in October, though we haven't nailed down the exact date yet. We're really looking forward to your valuable input when the time comes."

For me, the most important part of Product Hunt is the community discussions and feedback. Getting input from other makers and early adopters on how to improve my product is invaluable. BTW, I'm also expanding my communities on other platforms like LinkedIn, Substack, Twitter, Threads and YouTube. Feel free to connect with me there too!
