I think most of people got used to ChatGPT and are quite satisfied with it so they wont switch to Bard that fast

I think it's hard to say for sure, but Google has been building AI for quite a while, but have been hiding it for "safety" reasons.

The release of Bing's GPT search really pushed them to make their own publicly available AI
