Hey there, no need to worry about AI stealing your UX/UI job šŸ§‘ā€šŸŽØ Sure, AI is gaining popularity in the tech industry, but that doesn't mean you should panic and start looking for a new career. šŸ˜Ž Human involvement is crucial Even with the assistance of AI, UX/UI designers need to be actively engaged in the design process and provide their human perspective to ensure that the design meets the users' needs. ā¤ļø Empathy is key in user research No robot can replicate the human touch! While AI might be smart, it cannot mimic our empathy and emotional intelligence required for great user research. šŸ§‘ā€šŸŽØ Human creativity cannot be replaced by AI Sure, AI can generate some ideas, but it's far from producing original and innovative designs. That's where we human designers come in, with our unique perspectives and creativity! So, don't fret! šŸ˜‰ While AI can assist with some tasks, human creativity, empathy, and oversight will always be necessary for the design process. Share your thoughts āœļø

Perhaps not currently, but in the future, it could be possible if they develop a learning model based on human behavior. Why not?

Agree, UX is one of the most user-centric industries and AI just can be the human! With that said, we should all take advantage of AI tools, I wrote a blog about "5 AI Tools to Improve User Experience". Feel free to check it out: https://uxplaybook.org/articles/...

We tried generating a visually pleasing css for a Web-based UI (bootstrap, css) using GPT-4 and it didn't work at all. We are not there yet. But the gap is closing.

I don't think it can replace designers fully as it still requires humans to give directions. But I do foresee the job will change, UX'ers will move to the more strategic jobs instead of pushing pixels/crafting copies.

I completely agree; humans created that AI, and they are more intellectual and creative than any AI.
