I think it is quite normal. Have seen a lot of companies launching here.

    Launching soon!
@shownotes Mostly by independent hunters but shouldn't Product Hunt focus more on helping smaller startups gain visibility? Is it appropriate for big tech products to be hunted and featured?

@shownotes @abbas143official It gives credibility to PH. If you are a random consumer arriving here, and you see other big techs you'll trust the other products on the platform.

@shownotes @abbas143official @eliasthouant This is a good psychological observation about the platform. Additionally, PH is a business and these larger players paying to play and promote their new products is important to subsidise the "smaller startups" in gaining eyeballs where they don't have the same marketing budget and have to hustle to get out there. It's an ecosystem decision that really helps everyone.

Ah, featuring big companies on Product Hunt is like inviting a celebrity to a small-town fair - it draws attention, but the local gems still shine through! So, do David's still stand a chance against Goliaths in the world of tech?

Big companies often launch new products or features that can still benefit from exposure and feedback on platforms like Product Hunt. It's a way for them to engage with the garage community and gather insights.
