Why did my launch bomb?

This is my third time launching a product on product hunt, and I had at least two digit upvotes on my previous two launches, but this time there were none. 0. I got curious since I've never experienced an absolute zero reviews before, so i wanted to ask the community what went wrong Possible culprits: 1. Producthunt algorithms I didn't fill out enough info or didn't do something and product hunt simply didn't pushed out my product to the recent feed on time 2. Lack of SNS marketing I haven't done any LinkedIn or other SNS marketings and that prevented my launch from getting the initial spark (I didn't share previous launches on SNSes either though) 3. Something else Maybe 7am PST on a monday was not the best time to launch, or there were way too many launches on the same timeframe, etc?? Please leave a poll, and here is my product, fyi https://www.producthunt.com/posts/react-js-serverless-calendar-component

Hey that really sucks😓 Producthunt doesn’t seems to really have much of an algorithm, it’s really what gets posted first and some ads mixed in. I’ve solo Launched some products before and definitely realized they do worst then team launches. But besides that the main this to get the ball rolling with the launch is having someone upvoting it getting you the first 60-100 upvotes that could come from being active in the community discussions while launching and even more importantly before because firstly if you launch is scheduled you’ll get a “coming soon” teaser page you can make so people see you are launching and follow your product. Also most of your followers get a notification apon your launch. I’d also suggest sending the producthunt page to friends and family to upvote as well. Once your product gets the first 60-100 upvotes that’s where you’ll mainly start seeing more upvotes from people you don’t know as you product will start creeping up to the top of the front page for the day..

Perhaps it’s simply a lack a product market fit? At least here on PH
