Because the alternatives like Teams and Slack have inverse network effects that make them suck more and more when you need to regularly interact with more than one organization.

I'm a consumer behaviour researcher — one of the biggest myths is that our biggest competition is other products. It's actually status quo or when users lack the motivation to change.
