Product ranking on platforms like Product Hunt isn't solely based on upvotes. Factors like engagement, time of submission, user activity, and algorithmic considerations also influence rankings.

Even the comments and upvotes are also high for some products but still they stay behind. I think the authenticity of a person who is commenting also plays a major role. Product hunt identifies any conment from fishing account and not give much priority!
