I can't stop thinking that AI will eventually replace many jobs. Is it just me or you think so too?

Definitely. There is a limit to human upskilling. There is a period where we can ride the wave tho. By utilising AI.

@sentry_co shouldn't we be concerned then?
@kate_chasten Its impossible to predict what will happen. It might peak and stagnate for a long time for some edge case reason. Or it might arrive exponentially. GPT5 might be AGI. Arriving in 2024. GPU supply will be a problem in the short run. Governments will be in shock and markets will move sharply. Then it will probably settle. And we find a way to live with it. "AI equilibrium" But we definitely need all the help we can get building Climate tech so that we can reverse climate change. Some AI alien help might be just what we need. If AI generates extreme value. It's not negative, it's most likely positive. Time will tell. Enjoy everyday in any case. 😸 I "wrote" an essay about this yesterday: https://gist.github.com/eonist/f...
