Will ChatGPT replace the traditional search engines?

Lately, I've been optimizing SEO for our product, ILLA Cloud, on Google and ChatGPT has been performing exceptionally well. It's saved me a lot of time and made me wonder if, in the future, ChatGPT might replace Google as the primary search engine for everyone. Although Bing has already integrated GPT-3, it hasn't gained much popularity yet. Will this change the way of SEO and marketing now? I'm interested in hearing the opinions of the PH community.

Definitely not, it's a nice party trick, but we need to be super careful about trusting everything that it outputs.

No, ChatGPT is not designed to replace search engines. ChatGPT's primary purpose is to assist with natural language processing.
Search engines serve a different purpose by providing relevant search results and the latest news

ChatGPT is not a search engine and is unlikely to replace Google as the primary search engine for everyone, but the integration of NLP models into search engines and other platforms could impact the way SEO and marketing are approached. However, it's important to approach these developments with caution and consider potential ethical concerns.

I don't think so. ChatGPT surely is a great breakthrough but if we talk about replacing search engines, that is out of its league.
ChatGPT is more of an assistant where as search engines can be perceived as a library where we need to dig out stuff manually.
Noooo!! ChatGPT is just to help with writing skills

From a search engine perspective, humans can be divided into two categories. People who can google and people who can't. Why do people who haven't searched ask people without searching? why?
This problem is a very old conundrum. People say. Search before asking. for more than 20 years. What about chatgpt?
