Back to 2017, when I was junior ML dev there're were quite a lot of internship/junior positions. However now I notice that companies cut back hiring on junior devs. Do you think it is connected with coding with GPT-alike tools? What prospects do you give?

Never, if an employee has to reach the next level in his career he/she should be a junior. That is how the system will work. AI cannot replace 100% of juniors, but it will help them to provide quality output.

I have read that in the past 2 years there is less demand for IT jobs in some countries in Europe, but I think it's mostly due to other economic factors and not because of AI. Also, I think that AI is surely a huge help to speed up development time, but I'm not sure that it will replace completely the human workforce for the time being.

@access24 I agree with Paolo! It’s more about the economy and not yet about the rise in AI at the moment

the ones that rely on ctrl+c and ctrl+v all the time will eventually get replaced by ai. i dont see talented and hard working developers going out of business anytime soon.

Launching soon!
@zignis agree! Also NNs will definitely replace ones who cannot use AI as a tool

I believe that AI is meant to help humans, not replace them. To understand this is more detail, please see: https://data-science-ua.com/
