6 things I learned building a new product from scratch in 2024:

1. Zero to One isn’t just about building an MVP. Read Zero to One by Peter Thiel again

2. Don’t launch the product — launch the waitlist

3. Start growing on X and LinkedIn as early as possible

4. Using Reddit as an acquisition channel is easy if you create your own subreddit

5. Sacrifice usual spending habits (like daily coffee runs or a private apartment) to extend your runway — optional!

6. Apply to accelerators even if you only have an idea. We created our deck one hour before a call and still got an offer
