Youtube for B2B, Tiktok for B2C . YT is though more evergreen and searchable.

You can find almost all type of audience on YouTube while on the TikTok, there are still some limitations. So, YT is my GTM platform.

It really depends on your goals and audience. For example for my company (we developing a JavaScript library for web reporting), YouTube is the best platform for sharing tutorials, tips, and tricks.
If you adjust to trends and manage to "hack" algorithms, then you can easily go viral on TikTok. But it highllyyy depends on the product you are offering!

I do the both, but for SaaS product, definitely I will upvote the YouTube, long tail and good for your SEO

TikTok recently became surprisingly effective for b2b ad campaigns (short formats), while YouTube's short reels are not as effective

Depends. For a B2B usually YouTube works better, whilst for B2C both marketing channels can work wonders!
