Happy Friday-Eve, otherwise known as Thursday! In today's edition of the leaderboard, we have three takes, covering: a GitHub-like tool to improve your AI prompts, a product that lets you directly communicate with your database, and an AI agent that gives you god-like sales powers.
Latitude: An open-source prompt engineering platform
Latitude is like GitHub for prompt engineering—if that’s a real thing yet. Let’s be honest, getting AI to respond accurately is no easy feat. One vague prompt and suddenly your AI goes off on a wild tangent. Latitude helps you refine those prompts with batch testing and AI-powered tweaks, making sure you get the output you actually need. And yeah, prompt engineering could totally be a legit job—at least until AI gets so good it makes the role obsolete.
Chat with your database: AI that knows your database
SQL performance problems often have me turning to chatGPT for help, but chatGPT can’t see my databases. Chat with your database gives you an AI chat that knows about your database, letting you ask specific questions about **your** database. This is especially helpful when trying to figure out SQL performance where knowing about the details of the database means the AI can give you actually relevant answers. Plus, it’s open-source and easy to run locally, making it easy to try out and use!
Godmode: AI agents to understand and contact customers
Godmode is a game-changer for anyone in sales. Instead of doing outreach for me, it gives me superpowers while keeping me in control. It pulls data from various sources, offers up-to-date info, and lets me craft custom messages with ease. I still approve every message, ensuring a human touch. In a market full of half-baked tools, Godmode truly lives up to its name, making outreach feel effortless. Kudos to the team for nailing it—and for the perfect name.
