Happy Friday! in today's Leaderboard, we're diving into an AI that makes spending decisions for you, a Guitar Hero style app that teaches how to play music, and a tool that takes the pain out of creating Jira tickets. Let's dive in.

    AI shopping spree

Walle: A proxy that lets AI agents make online payments for you.

Walle is an encrypted wallet for AI agents — a proxy that integrates into any headless browser and lets the agent make payments on your behalf (after getting your authorization). The app is still in beta, but it seems like a big step toward a future where we delegate most of our online (and IRL?) shopping to agents. There are a lot of great use cases here: you could tell your agent to track price fluctuations and buy plane tickets when they’re cheapest, or ask it to find, e.g., a set of Belgian linen sheets below $200 and save yourself a few hours of mindless scrolling. On the other hand, it's probably a lot easier to rack up credit card debt when your agent's doing the shopping...

One way to annoy your neighbors

Melodics Drums: A mobile app that teaches you how to play drums.

Melodics Drums reminds me of Guitar Hero but for drums and with more attention to education. It does a good job at teaching you some common beats, and timing but in my opinion it’s not going to replace an instructor — yet. A good instructor will catch even the slightest issues with form and timing and their visual feedback is pretty crucial if you want to be serious with your instrument. Where I can see Melodics shine is in the inbetween moments. It’s great at teaching songs, and could be a fantastic practice tool in between lessons.

    A dev's best friend?

Skipper AI: Turn Slack conversations into Jira tickets.

Skipper AI is a handy utility. Slack is collaboration-central. Technical issues get reported on Slack (though we should probably use jam.dev). Meaty engineering discussions often take place on Slack and I usually rely on Slack Save for Later or Notion to keep track of threads that need to be followed-up or converted to engineering tickets. Skipper AI is a nice way to shortcut some of these processes. Looking forward to a Skipper AI Linear integration
