Never lose your phone again

Happy Friday eve! Welcome back to another edition of the Leaderboard. Today we've got: an app that will ensure you never misplace your phone again, the coolest new AI design tool, and...a bit of therapy for founders with crazy customers. Let's dive in.
Clap to find your phone

Getmobi: Clap to find your phone.

Getmobi is exactly what I need—because, honestly, I lose my phone all the time, and “Find My” is useless unless I have my Mac around to track it down. With Getmobi, I can just clap or whistle, and my phone chirps back, saving me from the usual wild search through cushions and bags. But here’s the fun twist: once friends catch on, they’ll probably clap just to mess with me, triggering my phone at random. Worth it, though, for the peace of mind that I can find my phone without needing another device.

AI 🤝 Designers

Wand: AI-powered iOS design tool that lets you draw and edit anything.

Wand feels like a natural next step for GenAI user interfaces — an intelligent tool that connects to your Apple Pencil and lets you create AI-assisted designs based on reference material you upload or draw. The UI here seems a lot easier for graphic designers and visual artists to integrate into their usual workflow than a web-based app. And they should be integrating tools like this into their workflow, not because AI will completely replace them (it won’t), but because it will open up new creative possibilities. Truly great artists have nothing to fear from GenAI — it’s just a very powerful tool they can use to realize their vision.

Goosefraba as a service

Punch your client: A simple game where you can punch annoying, fictional clients.

This app is a funny little surprise. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I clicked in, but it’s exactly what you’d imagine—and that’s the charm. You’re greeted by a “client” (an emoji) with phrases overhead that sound like every annoying client request you’ve ever heard. An orange “punch” button serves up another cringe-inducing line: “Can we make it more dynamic?” “Let’s add a splash of color.” “My budget is 3 dollars.” In a world full of AI apps, dev tools I don’t entirely understand, and endless directories, this one offers some simple comic relief. Not everything needs to change the world or attract millions of users; some products just exist to bring a small, satisfying laugh. Well done, Punch Your Client team.
