✋ This launch is a story about why founders should let their team cook for fun! Exactly a month ago, one of our customers asked us for a feature that vaguely resembled the product we're launching. They asked us to extract scripts from video ads in their niche and give them a summary of what their competitors were pitching in their ads. We assigned 15 story points for this task, but thanks to GPT-4o, we did it in just 1 story point. Yeah, AI is such a buzzkill! I remember finishing a demo late at night, India time, when at 2 AM, Slack was buzzing. One of our engineers, Sachin—probably after having way too much coffee—posted about how he figured out a way to classify parts of a video into Hook and CTA. Our product designer, Khushi, started sending him different videos to analyze, and he would send back the Hook extracted from the video along with the script. Mildly annoyed by it, I just silenced my phone and went to sleep. By the next morning, they had a scrappy PoC of how they could classify and analyze different parts of a video ad subjectively against any content framework of our choice. Khushi even had a Figma prototype ready. @swapnil_bari and I had no option but to green light this. Exactly 18 days later, @aditya_sriram posted a teaser of this tool on LinkedIn, and over 150 people signed up for the waitlist in 24 hours! Fast forward to today—100+ brands have analyzed 1,000+ ads. We had no idea that this tool would be so useful to digital marketers and creative strategists around the world. We're grateful for the opportunity to share this free tool with this community and get feedback on how to make it better. Used it today. Actionable steps along with the feedback was my favourite part because I know what to do with the analysis. Will we be able to eventually add multiple meta ad library links together so I can analyze my best competitors and see trends, @palkush ?

This is game changing and looks promising. @palkush a quick question, on what parameters is the scoring done for the hooks, CTA and visuals? Because different things work for brands in different verticals, and different target regions respond to ads differently, how is that context passed on the analyzer?

@vaibhavbansal - Under the hood, we fine-tuned the LLMs with a dataset of thousands of winning ads from ~10 niches (listed under advanced settings).

@shiva_tejasvi - While you can upload ad assets for any platform. For now the "import from link" works just for Meta ads. We're soon adding support for bulk import and importing from YT and Tiktok. Thanks for the feedback!

@kevinyaoooooo - For the ten industries listed (in advanced settings) - we've fine-tuned LLMs with a dataset of thousands of winning ads and frameworks. As per the metrics - the utility of this tool is to get a right-brained subjective feedback, as digital marketers already get metrics from the ad platforms on engagement and other KPIs Do try it out for different niches and you'll see the magic!
