Happy macOS Sequoia launch! 🌲 Subtitle Me is a new live-translation app that utilizes the Translation framework introduced in macOS Sequoia to provide lightning-fast, private, completely on-device translation as you speak. I run a Swift developer meetup in Osaka, Japan, and I developed Subtitle Me to help me build a bilingual community among iOS and macOS developers here. I've been using it at meetups all summer to provide Japanese translations for English-speakers giving presentations, and English translations for Japanese presentations. The response has been super positive, so I wanted to share it with everyone. I've made it available on Gumroad for free, or whatever you feel like it's worth to you. Living in New Brunswick - the only bilingual province in Canada - I can see this app playing a huge role in making live talks and presentations more accessible to those who only speak one of English or French. It's incredibly lightweight and easy-to-use!
