Summer AI supercharges your content with a magic button - the reader clicks and instantly gets a summary of your content and a list of your relevant products.
The amount of different content is such, so I would prefer to read summaries only and then see if I want to dive deeper into specific points. So I highly appreciate that your product is designed to save time.
I'm curious about how the AI determines which products are relevant to the article summary. Is there any customization involved? Also, does it support multiple languages?
@memphys_sk Yes, you may instruct AI on rules that it should use to recommend a specific product (you can set up the rules when you add a product). As to the languages, it works with any language that GPT 4o supports (with many)
Terrific executing here on brand and the website. Very fresh look and feel while keeping it super usable. Congratulations on the launch @headmandev — hope it does well today!
Congrats on launching Summer! The button for quick article summaries is a fantastic idea. It's a great way to keep readers interested and share related content. I am excited to try it out on my blog.
Good luck!
Hey Product Hunt friends!
I'm super excited to share a project that I've been working on with my friends – it's called Summer.
In a nutshell, Summer is a button that you can add to your blog. When readers click it, they get a quick summary of your article. It's a win-win: readers get the gist of your content quickly, and bloggers get another chance to engage with their audience and promote their products.
This project started back in January when my friend Dima said he was ready to invest six months of his free time into something cool. We brainstormed a bunch of ideas and finally settled on this one. We’ve all got full-time jobs, so this has been a labor of love in our spare time.
We noticed that a lot of people prefer consuming content in a summarized form. There are already tools out there that help readers with this, but we wanted to create something that comes directly from the blog authors themselves. This way, bloggers can control the narrative and even recommend related products or articles.
🚀 It works extremely simple:
- Generate the code to embed the button on your blog.
- Click the button to get a summary of the article.
- Collect emails from readers who want to subscribe to your summaries.
- Track button performance and user engagement.
🌟Try It Out!🌟
If you want to see Summer in action, start for free with your own blog or take a look at ours.
We'd love to get your feedback, whether you're a blogger or a reader. Any advice on attracting users or segmenting our target audience would be super helpful too.
Cheers!
@charlestehio, thank you! Correct, 500 activations = 500 summary usages. However, clicks don't add up during the same session (if you opened the page and clicked multiple times). We designed our plans so that product owners could test Summer for free and upgrade the subscription based on their customers' actual usage.
So cool! I have already integrated it into the blog of my product linkedcrm.ai/blog , the effect is very good. And the integration process is also very smooth! Highly recommended!
But I'm worried about whether these blog posters really need this tool. If I were a reader, getting a summary of the content might make me lose interest in listening to the whole thing.😕
Moreover, are there any plans to connect Summer AI with more blogging platforms to reach a bigger audience?
@cassandra11 Nice comment, but we are sure that the reader in many cases will choose between "give an article last chance by clicking Summary button" or "leave a page immediately"
Summer is an interesting tool for bloggers. How does the AI generate summaries, and can bloggers customize the summaries or related product lists? Are there analytics available to track button performance? Congrats on the launch, Dmitry!
@kyrylosilin, thanks ❤️
We generate summaries with GPT 4o, so bloggers can easily adjust their tone of voice. As to the product lists, it's fully under the bloggers' control. Analytics is also there - Summer shows views, button clicks, and products shown from the box.
A great thing about it is that you can read the summary first and then decide whether you want/need to read the whole article. Congratulations on the product :D
Hi Team Summer,

Thanks 😄
Looks really clean! The ability to still show the CTA and relevant products in the summary is pretty nice. That was my initial concern but nice job on the way it has been implemented. Will try to test it out for sure! Good luck @kirill_zhe
Congratulations on the launch! How does Summer ensure the accuracy and relevance of the summaries, and can bloggers customize the list of relevant products that are displayed?
@anastasia_chakileva_ Thanks! Honestly, we just tested it many times and it worked good. We can't say that it will be perfect anytime, here we rely on GPT 4o (best that we can get on the market now).
Regarding the relevant product you as a blog owner has great flexibility - you may instruct AI on rules that it should use to recommend a specific product (you can set up the rules when you add a product).
