FSNotes is modern notes manager for macOS and iOS. This app respects open formats like GitHub Flavored Markdown, so you can easily write documents on iPhone and MacBook.
I LOVE the fill direct markdown output, so ZERO lockin to it if you want to leave. I also love that it uses iCloud to sync along with gist intergrations. I set a symlink from the iCloud folder to my dropbox so nothing is ever gonna get lost. I had an issue with notes from Apple where I lost a few things. I have been using SimpleNotes, StandardNotes and Evernnote but they all are either too simplistic and way to bloated (looking at you evernote).

I find the pricing listed on the website a bit confusing, isn't the iOS app paid only? Correct me if I am wrong :/
@choudhary of course paid, but you can build the application from source for free.

@fsnotesapp sure, but what's the point? iOS is not similar to MacOS. You can't sideload as easily as you do on Mac or Android :( So, I'm wondering why you didn't go with a free version with iAPs for donations.
@choudhary what point in what? Open source? This is a guarantee that the project will be able to develop without me in the future. This is a guarantee that there are no bookmarks, etc.

@fsnotesapp I understand the open source aspect, but I believe the pricing section could be written more clearly; a cursory read gives the impression that it is free on both Mac and iOS. A good example would be https://apps.ankiweb.net/
