KidHab is a collaborative parent-child app which helps develop useful habits in an entertaining way. A unique gamification system will motivate your child to perform useful habits regurarly otherwise the progress is lost if the lessons are missed.
This looks really cool!
Taking up new habits is soo hard as an adult, children are more adaptive, so perfect time to teach them about these important habits early.
Congratulations, Bogdan! 👏
How did you choose which habits should be included in the app? Can the parent add custom ones?
Also, are there age recommendations? (I suppose there are different habits for a 5-6 years old than a 13)
@johnnyfekete Thank you for your question. The app has a list of standard habits for children aged 10 and older. If your child has a smartphone, you can create your own habits and rewards. Moreover your child can also create habits or rewards but you’ll need to confirm it. Respect,
Hello there 👋
Congratulate us 🎉 Today our team has launched an app - KidHab: Kid's habit tracker.
After finishing checking, testing and improving our app we can proudly announce that we have implemented our first MVP.
We want to share our idea of creating and launching our app with you. Our team thinks that developing useful habits in a wrong way is a serious problem. In our childhood, we should start developing useful habits: reading books, doing sports, personal hygiene, etc.
We have been teaching children programming for 5 years. We noticed that our student's parents face with the same problems and questions. They don’t know how to help their children with development and children cannot stay motivated for long.
We started using existing solutions but we noticed that parents did not have enough personalized lists of habits specifically for their child and children didn’t have motivation to perform useful habits again and again in the first few months.
That’s why we decided to create KidHab with such features:
- For parents’ convenience: the app offers to choose habits depending on child’s qualities and parents’ purposes
- For children: gamification system that rewards for performing habits without missing them.
A child who doesn’t skip doing habits can earn a reward 3-5 times faster than that child who performs irregularly.
We developed the app for 9 months and our next step was to give the app to the group of 100 parents and their children for testing it. The average age of the children was between 8 and 14 years old. They helped us complete lists of the most relevant and popular habits and rewards which we use in our application to personalize the profile.
We have already received first feedback about the app and one parent said: "My child started going to bed before 10 p.m., nothing helped without your app, thank you very much!"
Such positive feedback encourages us and we are ready to implement new ideas for gamification of the app and making it the most useful for children as well as for parents.
We know that upbringing is the most important thing for parents and our KidHab app will help you develop good habits and raise your child from an early age.
KidHab is available on two platforms IOS and Android and now you have an opportunity to use the app one week for free.
Please, share your impressions with us, our team is always open for communication and you can write your questions and suggestions using comments or directly via our website.
Try KidHab today💥 Observe positive changes in a week 😉

I love the way you guys are using gamification to encourage positive habits. How effective has the “point” system been? Have you considered making the rewards more engaging for kids like using those points to cash in on rewards that their parents set?

@danwaynay Thank you for your feedback. our application has progressive system of counting points, it was done for keep attention of child, and for showing kid how near he or she to award. List of awards is basic now, but you can create your own reward, own tasks, habits, to customize application according to your and your child needs. We have many idea yet, so to be continued)

A good idea that will help children and parents. The system of achievements is perceived by children as a game.
