In 2018 I placed an order as part of their crowdfunding. I only just today was contacted that they are finally ready to ship to me (6 years later) and I just had to confirm my shipping address. But not that simple after over half a decade of waiting they want to charge me shipping unless I add on certain products for another couple of hundred. Feels like a total scam now and there is no way I'm giving them a credit card to charge me for shipping or anything else. There has been too many excuses over the years for delays, don't trust them.

I bought into this company early because I believe they will actually live up to their claim to "change charging for good!" Right after I preordered my products, covid hit and pretty much everything in the world came to a stop. Yes, I am still waiting for my products, but the MAGFAST team has been forthcoming every step of the way about the delays, some due to shortages and some due to their commitment to excellence. To have a product in the world of electronics that is able to reach into the future rather than being outdated shortly after becoming available is something I can get excited about. To have a family of chargers that completely eliminates the need for multiple cables is another that that keeps me onboard with MAGFAST! They also have cables, if anyone wants one, and they are the best cables I have ever owned, not to mention they come with a lifetime guarantee! So yes, I have yet to get my MAGFAST wireless chargers, but I am confident that when I do, they will be exceptional.

Yes, they have been at this for a while, but designing, refining, redesigning, and engineering a product that has never been done this well before in the midst of a pandemic that caused worldwide shortages, has brought its own challenges. There are multiple products in production now, and most of the major products in their lineup are being shipped now, or will be shipped by April. There’s an actual shipping schedule that is available, and details the shipping each week and month until that time. I have received Lux cables so far, and they are the best and sturdiest cables I’ve ever seen. I have no doubts that the two other products that I’ve ordered will be of equal or better quality. They are scheduled to arrive in March. The customer service department was responsive to my inquiries when I wrote an email asking about my cables. Within 15 minutes after sending my email, I received a response. Three or four days later, my cables were in my hands. They are beautiful and durable, and beautifully packaged. I won’t ever need to buy cables again as they are guaranteed for life. And they come with adapters to fit all of the different openings currently available for charging cables. They are literally in the process of becoming the Gold Standard for charging products. Other products are going to be imitating these products for years to come. They are doing things well and correctly, instead of quickly and shoddily.

Approximately two weeks ago I posted my first Magfast review. It was basically saying that finally I was expecting delivery of Magfast product. I received the delivery (have to admit it was a welcome confirmation of a long period of doubt). I was very impressed with the packaging (which Magfast has talked about frequently). It would've been paradoxical to put high quality product in shabby packages. The packaging was well thought out and produced. The products (Life, Extreme & Jumper) exude high quality. After reading the start-up info I of course had to try them. It wasn't difficult to figure out but there were so many options and I wanted to test then all. So I did. And to begin I started by fully charging Life & Extreme. (They arrive with 30% charge - Federal Law). It took longer than I expected and I had wished that Wall had been included in the initial kit but I later discovered that the method I chose want the most efficient. Still it wasn't an overly long charging. Both units have maintained change extremely well. But as with most things - not everything went smoothly. I encountered a problem with a mini-cable and reported it. I tried an identical cable from my second kit (intended as a gift) and had the same problem. I was convinced that Magfast had a problem and that the problem was theirs and would derail success with Apple products. I got a quick reply from Magfast to send the cable (a) back to them and they would replace and investigate. As if turns out I never needed to return anything. The 'problems' was mine. It was an intermittent problem with the adapter I was using and also that I wasn't plugging the mini cable into its port firmly. (How embarrassing!).   Bottom line =. I am THRILLED with Magfast. The vision, passion, attention to quality, safety, customer support and their perseverance is a welcome thrill. I'm looking forward receiving Wall, Watch & Road. And I'm recycling a box full of stuff I've been struggling with past years.

MAGFAST is a very small company, but is has big-time technology. The small support team is awesome. All of the products are quite practical. The founder/inventor, Seymour Signet, and his awesome team, are very helpful, friendly and transparent. If the Covid-19 worldwide pandemic had not happened, then I would have received my preordered ProKit, the perks, and the MAGFAST Lux cables would be here by next week. I love MAGFAST’s easy usability, quality, practicality precision look. They are looking to the future of charging, while still supporting the older technology. I also love the weekly MAGFAST Live episodes. I’ve seen some incredible things, and they have done (e.g. like physically show video, or do live demonstrations of how a product works), or giving the livestreaming audience a chance to ask questions live. And, if they do not know how to answer, they promise to get back to you soon; and they do it. From what I’ve already seen, they are doing it correctly, even if they need to stop manufacturing in order to get a late bug fixed in a product, before it is retested with the changes made, and production resumes.

I have been backing Magfast from the beginning and they have been the best startup I have backed by a long way. Customer support is outstanding if you need to contact them and the regular updates have been informative and interesting (and sometimes fun). Due to Covid, delivery of the products I ordered has been delayed but on the whole, Magfast have been upfront and honest - they have even absorbed the considerable price increases for components and shipping. The only slight criticism I have is that (in my view) the regular update has become more of a sales pitch rather than an update on what is happening. I can understand that they are aiming to get new customers but for someone who has watched all the updates (and there have been a lot), I do not need to be told how the product works - just what's happening with production and shipping.

I pre-ordered MAGFAST's Pro Kit 4 years ago and invested in the company 2 years ago because they have designed a truly outstanding product set. Their chargers are far superior to any available today, providing more charge in more ways than the competition (though they really don't have any competition, given the features and quality of their products). Their especially unique and outstanding feature is their chargers' ability to connect magnetically to each other to charge each other, and that they can provide charge to most phones, pads, and computers either wirelessly or via any of the available varieties of cables, especially including USB-C.

I am absolutely convinced that Magfast products will be the most sought-after brand of chargers very soon. The company's goals are simple and clear - be the best at everything they do. The pandemic and supply chain issues have slowed production for Magfast, but as the CEO of the company has always said, they will NOT rush any products into production until they are the best in the market. I have total confidence in the direction of the company, the quality of the products, and the level of customer service they provide.

Fabulous line of products. Their scope and inter-workings are a strong point. Running popcorn booths for boy scouts, we can set the Extreme on the table and place the phone or tables on it to charge, while leaving the card readers plugged into to the devices so we don't lose connectivity. In the event this actually gets low, the Road version is charging in the van. Just connect them while we relocate to the next spot and the charge is transferred to Xtreme for the next display. Life charges the same way and keeps our exercise trackers and maps charged on long hikes.

I ordered my Magfast set of charging devices in September of 2019 and then doubled up on the order the following year. While I have yet to receive and try the products I am very happy with the communications and customer support. Regular emails have ensured that I am always kept up to date with the progress of the product design and manufacturing processes. These have slipped but are in line with many other products on the market these days that originate in China. The actual charging devices themselves look fantastic and I am very eager to take possession but at the same time I’m happy the company is making the effort to ensure that what they are sending out is of the highest quality. It may add to the delays but I’m content to wait. *****. Updated Sept 24th, 2022. ***** The honesty and integrity of Magfast is second to none. Several months ago I received an unsolicited partial refund because I had made an overpayment two years ago when placing an order. At the time of ordering (doubling up my original order from 2019), I paid for the jumper cables that attach to the Magfast Extreme. I hadn't realized these were actually 'free' at the time of placing my order and I hadn't realized that I had paid for them. Out of the blue, in June or July this year, while reviewing my orders, the Magfast team identified this over payment and refunded me the charge. I hadn't asked for it nor was I looking for it. I simply had not realized. While it isn't a huge amount that I had shelled out and a drop in the ocean for Magfast, I do believe it highlights their honesty and total integrity towards customer service. Yes the products are taking longer to come to market than many customers can wait for but I do believe they will be first class when they arrive. More and more are now being shipped and I anticipate mine arriving within the next few weeks. When they do, I will certainly provide a detailed and honest review of my findings but for now, the customer service is all I have to go on and that is first rate without a shadow of a doubt. I have total faith and confidence in the company, their staff and products. ************ Update November 19th, 2022 ************** My more recent order of Lux cables arrived last week and is everything and more that Magfast offered. This really is a premium cable that looks and feels great. The charging capabilities are truly magnificent. The packaging is also top quality. My pre-order of Life and Extreme are en-route with UPS and I anticipate them arriving within the next week or two - I keep checking the tracking number but it appears held up right now due to the US Thanksgiving holiday break. ********** Extreme & Life *********** Part of my original purchase arrived prior to Christmas 2022, allowing me the opportunity to travel with them as a test to see how they (Magfast Extreme & Life) functioned. I was not disappointed. There is a monitor glitch with Magfast Life but that is being addressed by Magfast and is scheduled to be replaced under warranty in the next week or two. Both devices are very easy to use and capable of providing several recharges to my cell phone and other portable accessories. For those who repeatedly spew out about Magfast being a scam, it most certainly is not. Their integrity is non-negotiable and absolute. They are honest and believe in their products, standing by everything they sell. Magfast has my full support and I look forward to further products in the future.
