@markoxvee Thanks for the support, Marko. The most critical skill for new designers has to do nothing with actual pixels - I'd say it's consistency. Many people get into the industry for the wrong reasons, and it's important to design something, even if it's tiny every single day.

@denislav_jeliazkov, I just purchased the Master UI eBook this morning and unfortunately I'm finding that there are parts that are not well written. For example, the first thing addressed in the chapter on Typography is the Rule of Four yet the rule is never actually defined. I have to deduce what it is based on the examples given. Page 27 has the title of Creating Hierarchy but then goes on to talk about spacing and line height without ever mentioning how they relate to creating hierarchy. On page 29 the first sentence reads, "The safest route for you to space your long paragraphs is to multiply it by 1.5." What is "it" that I'm supposed to be multiplying? That isn't clear at all. Sadly I can't recommend this book. It needs to be given to a copy editor so that spelling, grammar, and most importantly clarity can be improved.

I've been following Denislav for quite some time and I must say he's such a dedicated and talented expert in the UI/X field! I had the opportunity to read the book before it went officially out and gotta admit it's one of the best books I've ever seen on the topic. As a developer doing UI stuff, it's the perfect blend between the essential theory and practical guidance everyone doing UI needs to know! I highly recommend spending a few bucks on this one, as it's the practical shortcut we all need to better and more effective UIs. Great job, @denislav_jeliazkov!
